LP2M News - The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) conducted a Field Assessment (AL) at Raden Mas Said State Islamic University (UIN) Surakarta, Saturday (23/03). This accreditation activity was held for two days on March 23-24, 2024 at the Graha UIN RMS Building. The lecturers, student representatives from Student Activity Units (UKM) and faculties, as well as several invited guests attended the accreditation.
"In my era of leadership, we have the value of the university which I shorten with LURIK, namely Loyal, General, Responsive, Innovative, and Collaborative," said Prof. Toto Suharto as Rector of UIN RMS.
Prof. Toto explained that UIN RMS has been designated as a Public Service Agency (BLU) campus so that it has the flexibility given by the state to manage campus programs whose revenues are managed by BLU.
UIN RMS also has 10 study programs that are accredited with excellence both from the Education Self-Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK), BAN-PT, and from the Institute for Self-Accreditation of Management Economics, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA). This is one of the study achievements of UIN RMS.
Prof. Andi Sularso as the Head of the assessor team said that Human Resources (HR) are prioritized to improve the quality of the campus.
"We are not here to audit you, we just want to clarify, photograph hopefully pass because we are given the opportunity to refer to improve and we assess, then we convey to the Executive Board. Hopefully this assessment is better than the last one," he said.
"In 2025 to 2029 UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta will enter the era of competitive university with one of the indicators is as an Islamic campus that is selected by international institutional assessors," said Prof. Toto at the opening of the field assessment activities.
