Hat Yai - On Thursday, June 27, 2024, a delegation of International Community Service students from UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta arrived at Sangkhom Islam Witaya School to begin their community service program. The delegation consists of seven students who will carry out the International KKN project at the school for a predetermined period.
The arrival of the delegation was warmly welcomed by the school and the local community. They were welcomed by the principal as well as several staff and students who were very enthusiastic about their presence.
In their remarks, representatives from UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta expressed their commitment to make a positive contribution to educational development and community empowerment at Sangkhom Islam Witaya School. They hope to establish good cooperation with the school and the surrounding community in running this KKN program.
Meanwhile, the school representative of Sangkhom Islam Witaya School, Mr. Amin, welcomed the presence of KKN International students as an opportunity to develop school potential and improve the quality of education in their environment. They are ready to provide full support to KKN students in implementing the planned programs.
The presence of the UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta International KKN student delegation is expected to provide great benefits for the development of education and community empowerment at Sangkhom Islam Witaya School, as well as strengthen cooperation between UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta and this educational institution in Thailand.
