LP2M News - The 16-day campaign against violence against women is a strategic step in order to build a joint commitment to prevent and deal with sexual violence against women and children. PSGA Raden Mas Said Surakarta is at the forefront of protecting women and children so that it is called to contribute by sitting together to convey the situation of unrest due to sexual violence, formulating tactically, and synergizing with parties who are considered strategic in preventing and handling sexual violence by ensuring victims get services and fulfillment of rights in accordance with the mandate of the TPKS law.
The 16-day anti-violence against women campaign talkshow in Sukoharjo Regency was initiated by the SPEK-HAM Foundation, DPPKBP3A Sukoharjo Regency, IPAS Foundation, and attended by PSGA UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta along with OPDs, mass organizations, women-friendly villages and child care.
This talk show took place on December 04, 2023 at Menara Wijaya Building in Sukoharjo and resulted in a joint formulation to build cross-sectoral awareness of the issue of violence, ensure concrete cross-sectoral efforts in realizing protection, and efforts to prevent violence.
Head of PSGA UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Dr. Hasanatul Jannah, S. As, M. Si in the talk show said that UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta synergizes together in efforts to prevent and handle sexual violence.
UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta is also always open to enriching discourse and strategies in handling sexual violence, so that it will always strengthen collaboration so that the number of violence can decrease significantly
