LP2M UIN Surakarta and Malang Sign MoA to Realize Synergy Between Institutions

LP2M News - In order to realize synergy between institutions for their potential, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang visited LP2M UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, Friday (8/12). This activity resulted in several cooperation agreements that have been listed in the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). The points of agreement are divided into seven scopes, namely:

1. Development of LP2M management.
2. Development of research and publication of scientific works of lecturers.
3. Development of Community Service (PkM) program.
4. Publishing nationally accredited journals and international journals.
5. Exchange of scientific work of lecturers and students in the form of scientific. publications, either in journals or proceedings.
6. Institutional and academic strengthening (seminars, symposiums, joint training and workshops). and,
7. Provision of reviewers for research programs, Community Service (PkM), and journals.

To certify the ratification of this MoA, the leaders of LP2M institutions, Dr. Muhammad Latif Fauzi S.H.I, M.SI., MA. Ph.D. (Head of LP2M UIN Surakarta) and Ahmad Abtokhi M.Pd (Secretary of LP2M UIN Malang) signed the manuscript. This is considered very good in order to increase professionalism in the management of the institution in the future.

The management of LP2M UIN Surakarta which has just changed makes the institution want to do new ideas. This meeting was also used to make comparisons and measurements on both sides.

In line with the goal of LP2M UIN Surakarta to realize the localization of research and service on a Southeast Asian scale, establishing cooperation with UIN Malang is the right choice. UIN Malang has successfully conducted community service on a Southeast Asian scale such as Thailand and Cambodia, even in a wider scope such as Cairo Egypt.

In addition, the point of publishing national and international accredited journals also helps the realization of the Go SINTA Go SCOPUS idea that is currently being promoted. It is useful to assist and encourage journals that are already worthy to upgrade and get international recognition.
