LP2M News - LP2M Raden Mas Said State Islamic University (UIN) Surakarta held a Pre-KKN Coordination Meeting with the Local Government, on Wednesday (22/5), at the Pendopo RM Said Regency Office House Karanganyar. The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Institutional Development, Dr. Zainul Abbas, S.Ag., M.Ag., KKN Field Supervisors (DPL), and local government.
The event was opened with remarks from the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Institutional Development, Dr. Zainul Abbas, S.Ag., M.Ag., who expressed his expectations to DPL and local government about the implementation of KKN 2024.
“All of UIN Surakarta's KKN activities will be carried out in Karanganyar. Hopefully this will make the relationship better and can contribute to Karanganyar Regency. The diverse knowledge possessed by students is expected to contribute to society. In this service process, we ask for help from the local government to guide and direct our children,” explained Dr. Zainul Abbas.
Then the event continued with remarks and coordination from the Head of Baperlitbang Karanganyar Regency, Dwi Cahyono S.Sos. M.Si.
“For now, our students have visited all villages in Karanganyar. Hopefully, the local government can provide opportunities for students to study. We together prepare children towards the golden generation and replace us all later. So we hope that the local government will accept and help organize KKN this year,” explained Dwi Cahyono S.Sos. M.Si.
Then the event continued with a discussion with all DPLs and Karanganyar local government who attended the pre-KKN coordination meeting. There are several inputs and suggestions by the local government to LP2M so that the implementation of KKN runs smoothly. Before the event was closed, Dr. Zainul Abbas gave a closing statement for today's event.
“Technical matters related to KKN, local government and DPL can discuss. For DPLs, they can provide their phone numbers so that they can communicate more smoothly. And hopefully every problem has a way out,” explained Dr. Zainul Abbas.
The event was then closed with a prayer led by Dr. Sabariyanto.
